A New Space Filled With Hope

Fork Real Community Café has officially moved into its new home at 507 Main Street. This space reflects everything we believe in: welcoming people, nourishing community, and creating a place where everyone has a seat at the table.

We are open and serving, and we are also continuing our capital campaign to complete the buildout and prepare for future programs. Your support strengthens the roots of this new chapter.

Building Programs That Feed More Than Hunger

As we settle into our new home, we are expanding what we can offer to our community. Your contributions help bring these programs to life:

Program Highlights:

  • Cooking Classes (Launching 2026): Hands-on learning that empowers people to cook confidently at home.

  • Meal Prep and To-Go Options: Fresh, nourishing meals available for busy families and individuals.

  • Event and Gathering Space: A welcoming place for community events, celebrations, and conversations.

  • Pay-What-You-Can Model: Everyone eats, regardless of ability to pay.

  • Support for Foster Families: Real meals during times of transition and need.

Changing Lives Through Food and Community

Every meal served, every conversation shared, and every volunteer welcomed is part of a larger story. Meet some of the people who are shaping what Fork Real means today.

Be Part of the Story

Your generosity helps complete the space, expand our programs, and support the people who walk through our doors. Whether you give once or partner with us monthly, every gift sustains this mission.

Our Mission

To Build Up Community using food and conversation.

Our Concepts

  • People: Anyone and everyone in the community is invited to enjoy a home- style meal in a welcoming environment regardless of their ability to pay.

  • Food: Enjoy nutritious food using locally grown produce in a “farm-to-table” model building a stronger community.

  • Conversation: Whether you’re sitting at a table for two or at a community table, food is the avenue for conversation.

Fork Real is not affiliated with Rimrock Church nor a religious organization. However, we are excited to be leasing such a wonderful space from them at 507 Main Street in Downtown Rapid City.
