Come cook with us!
Our cooking classes are meant to be easygoing, welcoming, and fun. They are a chance to spend time in the kitchen, learn something new, and connect with people who care about good food and community.
Classes are held twice a month at Fork Real Café and are led by local instructors who enjoy sharing what they know. You do not need to be an experienced cook or show up with anything other than curiosity and an appetite.

Each class focuses on one theme and walks through the full cooking process together. You will pick up practical tips you can actually use at home and then sit down to enjoy the meal you helped prepare.
The pace is relaxed and questions are encouraged. It is about learning, trying, and enjoying the process together.

Cooking classes are one of the ways Fork Real Café brings people together while supporting our mission.
These classes help create consistent community programming, introduce new people to the café, and support meals for foster families through optional donations. When you join a class, your time and participation help extend care beyond the kitchen.
-
Class topics change throughout the year and follow the seasons. Themes are announced quarterly so you can plan ahead and choose the classes that interest you most.
Each quarter includes a mix of practical meals and themed classes that reflect the time of year. Specific class details are shared before the start of each quarter.
-
When you register for a class or pass, you will have the option to add a twenty dollar donation to help Fork Real Café prepare a meal for foster families.
This option is always voluntary and directly supports the work happening beyond the café.
