Fork Real moving forward: Cafe launching capital campaign to relocate downtown

Fork Real Community Café is relocating to the heart of downtown Rapid City later this year. A capital campaign starting April 24 aims to raise $646,500 to fund Fork Real’s move.

Fork Real will become a tenant of the building at 507 Main Street owned by Rimrock Church. Fork Real is not affiliated with Rimrock Church nor is the nonprofit café a religious organization. Moving into that downtown building will give the café a higher profile location where more locals and tourists can easily find it, according to Dave Pearcy. He co-founded Fork Real with his wife, Rhonda.

“Our goal is to be able to move to the new location in November this year,” Dave said
