Ways to Volunteer
In the cafe
Cooks
Join the team of weekly volunteers to prepare meals in the kitchen at our main location. You can expect to learn and perform techniques for healthy cooking and skills for meal prepping. Experience is appreciated, but not required.
Hosts
We are also looking for volunteers to host in our dining facility. From greeting guests to serving meals, there is a spot for you. Work alongside and get to know other diverse volunteers from the Rapid City community, including members of our Inmate Exchange program! A commitment of at least one shift a week for a one month period is preferred.
CATERINg
Join our catering team and be involved with exciting community events while learning the art of preparing and serving several course meals!
FARM & GARDEN
We use ingredients in our meals from local, sustainable sources like the gardens in Piedmont and Lemmon Street Gardens. We offer outings where volunteers can learn about organic farming while working in a peaceful, friendly environment.
Both individuals and volunteer groups are also welcome.
